Higher education credits: 7,5. Grading scale: TH. Level: G1 (First level). Language of instruction: The course will be given in English. GEMA20 overlap following cours/es: TNX020 och TNX020. Prerequisites: Upper secondary education or an equivalent thereof is required for admittance. The number of participants is limited to 50 Selection criteria: Credits remaining for the degree. Assessment: Examinations can take the following forms: oral and/or written examinations at the end of the sub-course, and curriculum-based continuous assessment in the form of home assignments, essays and contributions to seminars. Contents
The course studies technical texts in English in order to increase the vocabulary of the students in the field of engineering The course also deals with methods of oral presentation and with different types of written documentation, such as report writing and academic writing. These skills are developed in practical group exercises.
