AUTOMATIC CONTROL, INTERNATIONAL PROJECT COURSEFRT100

Higher education credits: 4,5. Grading scale: UG. Level: A (Second level). Language of instruction: The course will be given in English. Optional for: C4, D4, E4, F4. The course might be cancelled if the numer of applicants is less than 6. The number of participants is limited to 12 Selection criteria: The criteria that will be used to select is the number of control courses taken and the results on these courses. Aim
The aim of the course is to strengthen the student's knowledge and skills of control, to give experience of participation in a geographically distributed project team, and to give experience of working in an international project team with the cultural clashes that follow from this.

Contents
Contents: This course is given in cooperation with Ecole des Mines de Nantes, France. During the first two quarters (lp1-2) the students work in groups at each school and then the projects and reports are finished together with all students during one week in January. This final week is held every other year in Nantes and Lund respectively.

The course is normally taught in English.

Literature
Due to the nature of the course, no conventional literature is used. Written material selected to fit the needs of the actual project is handed out.
