PROGRAMMING IN C++

EDA623

Higher education credits: 7,5. Grading scale: UG. Level: G2 (First level). Language of instruction: The course will be given in Swedish. EDA623 overlap following cours/es: EDA350, EDA031 och EDA350. Aim
The aim of the course is to give the student basic knowledge and skill
in object oriented programming in C++.

Knowledge and understanding
For a passing grade the student must

be able to explain fundamental concepts in object-oriented programming in C++.
be able to interpret, analyze and explain given C++ code.

Skills and abilities
For a passing grade the student must

be able to develop a functional C++ program from given specifications.
be able to systematically debug C++ programs.

Types and variables.
Functions.
Operators and expressions.
Arrays, strings and pointers.
Memory management.
Flow control.
I/O and streams.
Classes, encapsulation and member functions.
Inheritance.
Overloading.
Polymorphism.
Source code management.
