Assessment: Presentation of a project in written and oral form. The grade is based on the written report and on the oral presentation.

Aim
The aim of the course is to get practise in indepent problem solving in physics or applications with quantum mechanical methods.
Knowledge and understanding
For a passing grade the student must
- be able to apply the theory on concrete problems
- be able to see the usefulness of the theory of quantum mechanics in some application
Skills and abilities
For a passing grade the student must
be able to apply quantum mechanical methods for analysis and calculations of relevant physical problems
Judgement and approach
For a passing grade the student must
be able to apply quantum mechanical thinking related to concrete problems
