CAD AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

Higher education credits: 6. Grading scale: UG. Level: G1 (First level). Language of instruction: The course will be given in Swedish. Aim
The course will give the students knowledge how to produce drawings, in two and three dimensions, by using ADT2007.

Knowledge and understanding
For a passing grade the student must

Understand the fundamentals in a drawing
Understand the meaning of different linetypes
Understand how to scale objects in CAD

Skills and abilities
For a passing grade the student must

Be able to manage drawings in 2 dimensions
Be able to manage scales, dimensioning and text
Be able to manage basic commands and visualisation in three dimensions
Be able to manage object-oriented CAD and visualisation in two- and three dimensions
Be able to plot the drawings

Judgement and approach
For a passing grade the student must

Be able to valuate different methods of modelling for a specific task
Be able to see that ADT2007 is a tool for producing drawings
Be able to see that ADT2007 is a tool for the practising engineer
