CAD – COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTIONMMT656

Higher education credits: 6. Grading scale: TH. Level: G1 (First level). Language of instruction: The course will be given in Swedish. Compulsory for: IBYA1. Course coordinator: Architect Olle Bergman, olle.bergman@caad.lth.se, Projekteringsmetodik. Recommended prerequisits: First year of the IBA-program or equivalent. Assessment: Examination consist of individual excerces, oral presentation and written report of project documentation based on moments of the course. 80% precence at seminars. Aim
The course intends to give increased skills in CAD and a deeper knowledge of ICT (Information and Communication Technology). The students will also be given knowledge in the use of ICT in future practice, and its significance and possibilities in the design process.

Contents
The course includes lectures, seminars and exercises and will give knowledge in the use of CAD. The exercises will use software from Autodesk and with applications in use for the Nordic market.
