Higher education credits: 4,5. Grading scale: UG. Level: G1 (First level). Language of instruction: The course will be given in English. Optional for: M4. Course coordinator: University adjunct Per Kristav, per.kristav@mkon.lth.se, Maskinkonstruktion. Prerequisites: MMK010 Manual and Computer Aided Drafting in Mechanical Engineering or similar course. Recommended prerequisits: Knowledge equivalent to the first two years of Mechanical Engineering curriculum at Lund Institute of Technology. The course might be cancelled if the numer of applicants is less than 3. The number of participants is limited to 0 Assessment: Examination is based on attendance. Aim
The aim is that the student shall be able to illustrate and model ideas and design concepts. This by using the free hand sketching tools of the industrial designer and 3D-modelling in plastics. The aim is hence that the student shall lern how to master perspective drawing, sketching mehods and sketch tools as Ad markers, aquarelle pancils and dry pastels.

Basic illustrative techniques in supporting the industrial design process, as well as plastic modulation, forms the body of the course.
