Higher education credits: 15. Grading scale: TH. Level: G2 (First level). Language of instruction: The course might be given in English. Compulsory for: ID3. Assessment: The grades awarded range from 5 to 0 wherein 3 equals “passed”, depending on attendance, participation, quality of development, completion of home assignments, final presentation, result(s) and report. Aim
To carry out a complex industrial design project.

Knowledge and understanding
For a passing grade the student must

have practised the entire design process including applicable tools and methods for a designed product or system of products.

Contents
The course commences with the choice of an electric or electronic product. The knowledge acquired in the current and previous terms will be applied to solve issues related to the chosen topic as well as to the creative development of inspirational and conceptual ideas. This entails: creation of a project plan, research, analysis, concept sketching, 2D and 3D development, necessary adjustments, finished model and a final presentation and written report.
