Aim
The aim of the course is to give the student some practise in the use of computers to solve problems in connection with other courses

Knowledge and understanding
For a passing grade the student must

be able to use computers to solve problems in applications

Skills and abilities
For a passing grade the student must

be familiar with the use of computers
be able to use the computer as a natural tool in continued studies and later in professional life

Contents
Structure of MATLAB. Graphical presentation of functions and data. Basic simulations. Repetition of basic mechanics as a basis for simulation exercises.
