ADVANCED QUANTUM MECHANICS, PROJECT

Higher education credits: 3. Grading scale: TH. Level: A (Second level). Language of instruction: The course will be given in English on demand. FMF032 overlap following cours/es: FMFN01. Optional for: F3, F3tf. Course coordinator: Gunnar Ohlén, gunnar.ohlen@matfys.lth.se, Fysik, kurslaboratoriet. Recommended prerequisits: Quantum Mechanics, Advanced Course, FMF033. Aim
The aim of the course is to get practise in indepent problem solving in physics or applications with quantum mechanical methods.

Knowledge and understanding
For a passing grade the student must

be able to apply the theory on concrete problems
be able to see the usefulness of the theory of quantum mechanics in some application

Skills and abilities
For a passing grade the student must

be able to apply quantum mechanical methods for analysis and calculations of relevant physical problems

Judgement and approach
For a passing grade the student must

be able to apply quantum mechanical thinking related to concrete problems
