WATER MANAGEMENTEXTN25

Higher education credits: 15. Grading scale: TH. Level: A (Second level). Language of instruction: The course will be given in Swedish. EXTN25 overlap following cours/es: BIO787 och BIO787. Prerequisites: 105 ECTS credits Science studies including courses corresponding to BIO580 Basic Ecology 15 ECTS credits, Chemistry 15 ECTS credits, and BIO621 Limnology 15 ECTS credits or BIO607 Limnology and Water Management 15 ECTS credits or BIO584 Marine Biology 15 ECTS credits. Assessment: Assessment is both written and oral, on one hand a final written exam close to the end of the course, on the other written and oral project presentations. Students who fail the scheduled exam will have an opportunity to take another exam in close proximity to the ordinary one. In order to pass the course the student is required to have passed the test, have acceptable project reports and have actively participated in all compulsory course elements. The final grade for the course is determined by the combined results of the written final exam and the individual literature project. Further information: Learning activities consist of lectures, field exercises, seminars, group exercises, project work (both individually and in group), and visits to authorities and consulting agencies of the field.
