ANALYSIS: ENGINEERING ASPECTS OF AN APPLICATIONESS081

Assessment: For a grade approved assignments from the preceding course modules are required together with time reports, participation in lectures and seminars (at least 75%), presentations in writing and oral, and deeper studies of three issues. Aim
The course provides the overview necessary for an engineer of the electrical engineering area, through detailed studies of an application from various viewpoints. Theory and practise are combined into a holistic view, but also aspects on economy, the society and the environmental impact are introduced. All those issues are discussed in a final project report.

Contents
The main object of this course is to connect the different ESS-courses within the block Electronics, Systems and Signals by giving the students a real application to analyse i.e. pacemaker or mobile. The work with this application starts in autumn semester year 1 and is a recurrent feature in all the other ESS-courses, most commonly as exercises. In this way, respect to industrial project work is applied –time planning, reporting, argumentation responsibility and team work.
