Higher education credits: 7,5. Grading scale: UG. Level: G2 (First level). Language of instruction: The course will be given in Swedish. Compulsory for: IDA2. Prerequisites: ETE604 Circuits and Measurements and EDI610 digital systems. Assessment: Continues examination through tests before laboratory work, passed laboratory reports and one final passed report of an interface problem.

Aim
The aim of the course is to give fundamental knowledge of the electronic components, that a computer will use to communicate with the environments ( interfacing). The aim is also to ratify the professional way for an engineer to work and to ratify the ability to, from given conditions, analyse and construct a system for measurement and steering.
