OPERATING SYSTEMS - PROJECT

Higher education credits: 3. Grading scale: UG. Level: G2 (First level). Language of instruction: The course will be given in Swedish. EDAF01 overlap following cours/es: EDA055 och EDA055. Aim
The purpose of the course is that the students should get a deeper understanding about how an operating system can be constructed by doing

an implementation assignment as a project. The contents of the project is selected by the course responsible and can for instance be to

compare different methods of dynamic memory allocation.

Knowledge and understanding
For a passing grade the student must

have gained a deeper understanding about how operating systems can be implemented.

Skills and abilities
For a passing grade the student must

be able to better assess different design alternatives for the project task with respect to a particular situation.

A project work, which varies between different years. The task is announce at the course web page.
