Aim
The course aims are that the students shall develop their general problem solving skills. They shall learn to solve problems on computers with help of object-oriented programming and get practical experience of Java programming.

Contents
Programs as models of reality. Basic Java programming. Objects and operations, classes and methods. Basic algorithms and basic algorithm design. Data structures: arrays. Inheritance. Object-oriented software development.
