Contents
Use of video techniques for communicating one’s ideas regarding design. With the advent of modern video techniques, moving pictures have become a genre within art just as common as painting and photography. This has led to its becoming a means of visualizing design in the same way that photography is. A skillfully produced film can be very effective in documenting the design process, just as computer-supported animation can, there being a wide variety of possibilities here. It is a genuine art to be adept at working with moving pictures.

The course takes up the use of photographic techniques for documentation and presentation purposes.

Approach
The course is organized as a project in the producing of photographs and moving pictures. A theme one has selected becomes both a study object and the point of departure for the last part of the film project. Observations made of a given physical space and analysis of them one makes are replaced by suggestions regarding a film one can produce concerning the theme in question. One’s own creativity and insights are central elements in the process that evolves. The project is concluded by presentation of a film one has made.

Literature
There is list of compulsory literature for the course, but a reference list is made available during the course.
