Aim
The course aims at applying the system thinking on an existing student project and/or the student's design process. The course also aims at introducing a common language for design that could be useful in multi disciplinary situations and co-operations. The individual design process will be approached from different perspectives - how does it meet systematic thinking, the analysis, the creative process called the black box?

Contents
The course gives examples of how different architects and designers work. With these different perspectives in mind the student will look into, define and analyse his/her own work process. The course also discuss different methods in abstract modelling and how these handle in-data, from analysis to the synthesising of information and evaluation of results. Sketch exercises and mini exercises will be included.
