Assessment: Approved exercises, approved final presentation and 80% presence at seminars and lectures.

Aim
To give an understanding of tectonic meanings in architecture and understanding for the construction as a means of expressing space and aesthetic.

Contents
The course is built up from the study of some buildings with legible and interesting tectonic characteristics. The buildings are discussed in lectures, seminars and in the practical work. The buildings are from different historical periods to describe common phenomenon in architecture.
