Aim
The aim of the course is to give basic knowledge in general microbiology, and particularly an understanding for cell physiology and genetics.

Contents
To provide basic, theoretical and practical, knowledge about the taxonomy, the genetics, the morphology and the physiology of micro organisms; the relation of micro organisms to the environment, ecological relations, the nutrient requirements and growth conditions of micro organisms, sterilisation, antibiotics and viruses.
