Aim
The aim of the course is to provide a survey of the most important analogue and digital methods for the measurement of electrical quantities. Upon completion of the course the student is expected to be able to set up instrumentation for a given measuring task as well as being able to perform simple measurements.

Contents
The oscilloscope, construction and application, Probes, sampling and storage oscilloscopes. Digital and analogue instruments for the measurement of voltage, current, time, frequency, impedance, power and energy. Magnetic measurements. Recording instruments, data acquisition systems (GP-IB). Precision measuring techniques, test analysis.
