Prestationsbedömning: För godkänt betyg krävs aktivt deltagande i kritik, föreläsningar, seminarier, övningar och studieresor. Kursen ger en teoretisk överbyggnad till projektet "Road-man-landscape - designproject", 13 poäng. Det är ett obligatorium att man läser bägge kurserna samtidigt då de två delarna är integrerade.

Mål:
The objektive of the course is to teach students of different backgrounds the planning and design of transport infrastructures in the city and in the open landscape, in close co-operation with complementary competences, and taking into account traffic, landscape and environmental requirements.

Innehåll:
Course content:
New roads in the landscape. Conversion/modification of existing road networks. City access roads and the transition from road to street. The teaching is based on lectures, group-work, excursions, practical exercises and presentations. The lectures cover the central concepts in traffic planning, road construction, landscape architecture, urban architecture, planning processes and the use of modern information technology in transport planning.
The course is intended for masters (graduate) students of engineering, architecture and landscape architecture, and future planners and managers of transport infrastructures, and is run jointly by the co-operating universities KVL, the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University, Copenhagen, SLU, the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Alnarp, LTH, Lund Institute of Technology and DTU, the Technical University of Denmark.
