Innehåll

The course is primarily intended for visiting students and is given in English.

The object of the course is to provide knowledge of Swedish building technology. The lectures and associated literature in the course provide knowledge of the technical principles applied in designing the bulding envelope, with reference to Swedish building regulations, architectural quality, our climatic conditions, energy efficiency, and local raw materials.

The aim of practical work is to provide an idea of the design process for a small local building project and some knowledge of how the architectural and technical problems which arise during this process are solved.
