The course shall give an introduktion to and basic knowledge in geodetic surveying
The students shall earn knowledge for basics analysis and problem solving in the area of geodetic surveying.
Knowledge and understanding
For a passing grade the student must
Be able to explain and use basic conceptions and relations in geodetic surveying.
Competences and skills
For a passing grade the student must
Apply knowledge in surveying for construction and infrastructure projects.
Judgement and approach
For a passing grade the student must
Understand the significance of and be able to asses geodetic analyses, projecting and planing.
Basic classical surveying calculations in plane och high. Adjustment of surveying with equalization calculation according to least square method, fault propagation and introduction to building measurements fault and tolerance theory. Photogrammetry concepts, definitions and applications. Concepts med methods in satellite positioning (GPS) and applications.
Grading scale: TH
Assessment: Written final examination and project work.
Required prior knowledge: FMA420 Linear Algebra.
